Centrally located in the heart of the Hunter Valley, Pokolbin Village is minutes to all the major attractions and event locations.

Located on 50 acres, our 27 room hotel is the ideal choice for couples, families or groups. Choose from our Standard Queen Rooms, Deluxe Queen Suites and The Loft; our fully self contained 2 and 3 bedroom villas or our 4 bedroom self contained country house - The Homestead. We also offer guests free side wide wi-fi access.

Our accommodation is just a leisurely stroll to the village boardwalk where you will find Buon Cibo restaurant, boutique shops, local wines, produce and lots more. If you wish to venture out we are close to well known cellar doors, restaurants and attractions such as the Hunter Valley Gardens, Hope Estate, Roche Estate and Peppers Creek.

Our facilities include a swimming pool, BBQ facilities, full sized tennis court, and boules court.

As part of our service we can arrange wine tours or any other activity during your stay, simply speak to our friendly reception staff who would be more than happy to assist you.

The Loft

The Loft is situated above the General Store along the Village boardwalk. Cosy and comfortable, it is suited to couples wanting a short stay or weekend getaway.

Villa

Our 4 star Villas, are spacious and are the perfect retreat for families and friends. Bathroom renovations were complete in August 2015.

Country Villa

Our 3 star rustic Country Villa is located at the rear of the property and ideal for a small group on a budget. The Country Villa has 3 bedrooms for up to 6 guests.

The Homestead

The 4 star Homestead offers secluded accommodation and is fully self contained with all the amenities you would expect in a country home.

Restaurant

Buon Cibo Restaurant is conveniently located in the village and is open daily from 8.00am for breakfast & lunch and Friday to Monday for dinner - the perfect place to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast, lunch or a gourmet dinner. Bookings are essential and can be made by calling Buon Cibo Restaurant direct on 02 4998 7945.

  • Great location for touring the Hunter Valley. Very comfortable suite with good size bedroom & lounge with TV, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities. Good swimming pool with sun loungers. Very helpful reception staff & handy parade of small shops on-site.

  • Having not stayed at Pokolbin Village for around 10 years, it was truly great to come back and see an old favourite keeping up with the times.
    Let`s face it as far as aspect, locality and convenience goes Pokolbin Village is in the heart and a beautifully set resort, throw in their array of shops on site, restaurant it would have to be the best equipped place in the Valley. Seriously plenty of great places within walking distance for those that like a drop or two as well.
    The two things that impressed us most though was 1. The improvements to the rooms & 2. The impeccable service from all the staff. The rooms had been upgraded beautifully since we`d been last & very well attended too both prior and during stay. The staff had been lovely in the lead up and then super polite and attentive on arrival and during the stay. Combining all of what Pokolbin Village has to offer it truly is an overall lovely place to stay in a tranquil yet not pretentious setting.

  • Everything about this property was amazing! Especially the friendly service. Nothing was too difficult for the staff who went out of their way to help us. From the moment we arrived, we were genuinely greeted and every offer was made to be super accommodating. The room was perfect value for money considering we were staying there over a weekend. The room was also a lot bigger than what we thought it would be so we were very impressed. The bed was soft and warm and the shower was good too. It had a separate lounge and bedroom so more then plenty of space for a couple.
